I’m 3 weeks into term now, the point where I would normally have a halfway tutorial thing with a lecturer. However, I’ve been too busy getting up at 5:45am this week for any of that nonsense so I’ve decided to reflect upon the first half of my Scenic Art allocation with a (hopefully amusing) list.

Ten Things I’ve Learned From Paintshop

1. It is not as simple as just painting something pink

2. Waltham Forest isn’t actually a forest, just a total shithole

3. Even at 6:45am, the DLR is still fairly busy…

4. …and unreliable

5. I won’t be fat forever, because one day I’ll die

6. A Starbucks cup will split and you will get coffee everywhere if you try and reuse it the day after

7. Trompe l’oeil (look it up) is for life, not just for Really Useful Group shows

8. Latex is fun. In an artistic way, not a dirty way. Although I’m sure it is fun in a dirty way too. But I wouldn’t know.

9. The 158 bus is one I never want to get on again (even though I have to on Monday)

10. Paint gets literally everywhere.

And one confirmed suspicion……

1. I drink way too much coffee.
